Apple introduced its first foldable iPhone, called the Duo, at its September product event, The Associated Press reported.
The device has a 7.6-inch folding display, supports Apple Pencil input and is designed for split-screen multitasking. Apple set a starting price of $1,999, placing the Duo above the company's conventional iPhone models.
The launch moves Apple into a foldable-phone category that remains a small share of the global smartphone market. The company also announced updated iPhone 18 Pro models and new AI-focused software features.
