A federal court ordered a series of behavioral remedies in the Justice Department's antitrust case against Google over advertising technology.
The Justice Department said the order requires Google to support integrations between its ad exchange and competing systems such as Prebid, allow publishers to export more of their data and prevent Google Ads from bidding preferentially because of Google's ownership of related ad-tech products.
A monitor and technical committee will oversee compliance for six years, according to the department. Google has contested the government's antitrust claims throughout the litigation.
