Frederick County is marking Hispanic Heritage Month with a special display at the Walkersville Library featuring cultural items and family mementos shared by county employees.
The county also produced a video in which employees discuss their family traditions and the heritage behind the items in the exhibit. Segments are being shared through county social-media channels during the observance.
The display is part of a broader county effort to recognize the histories and contributions of Hispanic and Latino residents and employees.
