FREDERICK, Md. - The Frederick Police Department is conducting a death investigation in the unit block of Franklin Street, with officers expected to remain in the area as investigators work to determine what happened.
Police announced the investigation Sunday evening and said there is no threat to the public at this time.
The department has not released the identity of the person who died, the circumstances surrounding the death or whether investigators suspect criminal activity.
