NASA is providing coverage of the Progress 96 cargo mission, an uncrewed Roscosmos flight carrying roughly three tons of food, fuel and supplies to the International Space Station.
The spacecraft was scheduled to launch aboard a Soyuz rocket from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan before docking with the station. Progress vehicles are a regular part of the station's logistics system.
Cargo missions replenish consumables and deliver hardware needed to keep the orbital laboratory operating between crewed flights.
